Port Charlotte Scottish Barley 10

Port Charlotte's long-awaited ten-year-old, a thick and smokey whiskey manufactured by the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, is finally here. As it's called among its pals, PC is firmly peated to 40ppm, placing it on par with Islay's other big guns. The result is a vast, peaty whiskey with a nautical flavour. Finally, the most significant factor is the flavour, which is rather lovely. This Port Charlotte 10-year-old was created, distilled, aged, and bottled entirely on the Isle of Islay.
